About
The Time Capsule Foundation is a distinguished 501c3 Non-Profit organization with a unique dedication to curating artifacts and information that define the era from 2000 to 2025. Focusing on pillars like economy, governance, youth, environment, spirituality, space, and technology, we strive to preserve the essence of this era for future generations.
Our plan is to create a time capsule to be opened in the 22nd century and for the capsule’s contents to be unearthed, reviewed and then added to and then to "pay-it-forward" from century to century as we go into the future. It is to be replanted at the start of each new century. We estimate the size of the capsule to be 24"X24"X12" deep, hermetically sealed in an argon blanket. The Capsule will also house current artifacts, a mind file and human and species DNA.
Each time capsule serves as a beacon of peace and goodwill, a testament to our enduring spirit, and a legacy for future generations. It's a symbolic act of preservation, offering a glimpse into our lives and times. We hope it will enlighten, inspire, and connect us with those who come after.
Capsule Pillars
The Time Capsule will contain and address the following categories as each of these categories are pillars on which mankind stands. They are: Economy, Governance, Youth, Environment, Spirituality. If any of these pillars fall, society and potentially all of mankind will collapse. We will include a conversation of all of these issues in our Mind File” that will be included in the time capsule.
In essence, our Time Capsule team is attempting to encapsulate everything that makes us who we are today in 2025, essentially creating a snapshot in time version of our society.
Economy
Significant economic issues facing businesses and industry include global supply chain disruptions, inflationary pressures, labor shortages, digital transformation challenges, geopolitical uncertainties, sustainability demands, and regulatory changes. These issues impact production, costs, market dynamics, and strategic planning, requiring adaptive measures, innovation, and resilience to navigate the evolving economic landscape. Youth

Environment

We hope that the items included in this capsule will serve as a reminder of the urgency of these issues and inspire future generations to take action towards a more sustainable and equitable future. Spirituality
In this era of rapid technological advancement and global interconnectedness, spirituality remains a cornerstone of human existence. The time capsule will include artifacts that reflect the diverse religious and philosophical beliefs prevalent in our society.
